Bay College invites the community to experience an unforgettable evening of world-class acoustic guitar as acclaimed fingerstyle guitarist Ben Woolman takes the stage at Bay College's Besse Center Theater on the Escanaba campus, Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. (ET). Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Recognized as one of Minnesota's premier fingerstyle guitarists, Ben has spent more than two decades captivating audiences across the United States with performances that blend breathtaking original compositions and innovative arrangements spanning music from the 1920s through today. His artistry honors the rich tradition of fingerstyle guitar while bringing a fresh, contemporary sound that appeals to music lovers of all ages.
Ben's music has reached listeners around the globe, airing in more than 50 countries on six continents. His recordings have been featured on SiriusXM, National Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio, and other major outlets, earning more than 40 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and YouTube.
A prolific composer and recording artist, Ben has released 12 recordings, contributed music to film soundtracks, and received praise from Acoustic Guitar Magazine and Vintage Guitar Magazine.
