Bay College Workforce Training will offer an instructor-led Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Training course on Thursday, November 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern in Room 420 at Bay College's Escanaba campus.

Updated to the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines, this four-hour course teaches participants how to provide first aid, perform CPR, and safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED). The training is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who want to be prepared to respond to emergencies at home, in the workplace, or within their communities.

"Knowing how to respond in an emergency can make a critical difference while professional help is on the way," said Renee Lundberg, Business Development Manager at Bay College. "This training provides practical, hands-on skills that help participants respond confidently when minutes matter most."

The cost is $70 per person and includes the student manual, instruction, skills practice, and AHA Card, which is valid for two years. Enrollment is limited to nine participants to ensure individualized instruction and an optimal learning experience.

Advance registration is required. To register or learn more about this training opportunity, visit mytraining.baycollege.edu or contact Bay College Workforce Training at (906) 217-4200.
