ABOUT THE ARTIST & ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic journey is a story of rediscovery. After earning my BFA in Drawing and Painting from Northern Michigan University in 1998, I stepped away from the canvas for over twenty years. In the fall of 2023, I picked up the brush again—and I haven’t been able to put it down since.
Working with acrylic paint on canvas, my current collection, Explorations Near and Far, captures the energy of this new chapter. These pieces use vibrant colors and rich textures to interpret landscapes both familiar and distant. Through my work, I invite viewers to explore the world with a renewed sense of curiosity, proving it is never too late to return to your creative purpose.
