The Bay College Water Technology Competency Based Education (CBE) program is the first accredited and approved CBE water program in the United States!

The CBE program is a perfect fit for current water, wastewater and industrial professionals looking to gain a degree or need continuing education credits. All our courses are fully recognized by EGLE for licensing credentials and for continuing education credits.
In most states, .1 CEC’s/PDH’s represent one hour of instruction. Most States require a 3-year renewal cycle. Wastewater CECs are divided into three course categories:
- Technical
- Managerial
- Non-Managerial/Non-Technical
Certificate & Degree Options
The Water Technology certificate program at Bay College is intended to train entry-level maintenance operators and laboratory technicians for jobs with municipalities and industries involved with control and prevention of water pollution.
The Water Resource Management degree program at Bay College is designed for providing specialized training in water and wastewater treatment theory and application to both entry-level personnel and those already in the field.
